ALPINES AND PLANTS

We will send alpines and plants from late February to early May ONLY using Air Mail Post, charged at a rate of 30% of the total value of goods, rounded up to the nearest pound.

Plants are sent bare root, we very carefully remove the soil and wrap the roots in sphagnum moss and then cling film. We keep the weight to a minimum but also must ensure adequate protection for the plant on its journey. Upon arrival your order will need unpacking immediately, plants potted up, watered and given protection from prevailing weather for 3 or 4 weeks before they will be ready for transplanting into your garden. We have been successfully packing and sending our plants to European gardens since 1971.

DWARF BULBS AND WINTER CATALOGUE

These will be sent by Air Mail Post and charged at a rate of 25% of the total value of goods, rounded up to the nearest pound. In exceptional circumstances you may be required to pay extra postage when ordering heavy items - then we will contact you to discuss.
