Dryas octopetala 'Minor'

We obtained this named plant from Jakob Eshmann's supreme Swiss Alpine nursery 3 years ago and to date it has slowly formed into a compact mat only 15cm across, covered with many large beautiful white fls on short stems in summer.

This natural hybrid between D. octopetala and D. drummondii has yellow flowers in bud stage opening creamy white on short stems to 10cm throughout summer. Good ground cover plant.
