Semi-prostrate, neat evergreen shrub, 15 x 10cm in 10 years, with alternate leathery dark, glossy green leaves . Dense terminal clusters of very fragrant pink flowers. Hardy, very slow growing and long lived. Best in trough or raised bed but also may be grown to good effect in the alpine house. Limited availability, 2 year old.
